Knot Sand is a lightweight alternative to sand made from USA-grown corncobs. It is mess-free sand perfect for inside or outside use. Because corncobs are a less-dense material, it weighs only 30% of the weight of sand so filling sand tubs is not a difficult chore. Dry use only. Knot Sand is 8 lbs. in weight but equals 25 lbs. in volume!
ECERS-3: Nature/science 3.3 - Sand or water, with appropriate toys, is accessible for at least 25 minutes during the observation.
