Week of the Young Child: Work Together Wednesday!

The Week of the Young Child™ is an annual celebration hosted by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers, and families. This year's event is April 16–20, 2018. We’re happy to be taking part in helping to spread the word by posting on our blog every day this week!

Today’s WOYC theme is Work Together! “Work together” and “Toddlers” said in the same breath is a bit of an anomaly!

But if you tape a large piece of paper to a wall and provide toddler-friendly paint and brushes, you will have a group painting for your classroom gallery!

For preschoolers, think floor puzzle! Floor puzzles are large enough so that a few children can work on it simultaneously and share in the pride upon completion.
